Wedding Planner Pro ("we", "us") is a UK wedding planning app operated by Ian Ring. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights over it. Questions or requests: help@weddingplannerpro.co.uk.

What we collect

Account data: your email address, used to sign you in and send you sign-in links and service emails.

Wedding data you add: your wedding date, location type, budget, style notes, tasks and notes, guest names and details you enter (including dietary needs), supplier contacts and quotes, and budget figures. Guest information you add is your responsibility to collect fairly — only add details your guests would expect you to hold.

Buzz conversations: messages you send to Buzz, our AI planner, are stored so your conversation has memory and so we can meet plan limits.

How we use it

To run the product: building your plan, storing your data, answering your questions through Buzz, and processing subscriptions. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers, each processing data only on our instructions:

Supabase (database, authentication, EU-hosted) · Vercel (app hosting) · Anthropic (Buzz's AI responses — your wedding context and messages are sent to generate replies; not used to train their models) · Google (Places search, when you ask Buzz to find venues or suppliers) · Stripe (payments — we never see your card details).

How long we keep it

Your data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is deleted. We may retain minimal billing records where tax law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time — email help@weddingplannerpro.co.uk from your account address and we'll act within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies & storage

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. We use your browser's local storage for your sign-in session and small preferences (like dismissing the install banner).

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll note it in the app. The latest version always lives at this address.
